In the past, the only option for long-term hair removal was electrolysis, which can be very time-consuming and uncomfortable. Now it is possible to achieve permanent hair reduction with minimal discomfort using laser hair removal. We can treat almost any body area. Most sites require only a few minutes per treatment.

Trinity Aesthetics & Laser offers laser hair removal using the Soprano XL laser system. The Soprano XL is an 810 nm ruby diode laser offering permanent hair reduction that is virtually painless. The system's unique IN-Motion technology, along with the sweeping motion of the laser, safely and gently heats the targeted area under your skin while you stay comfortable. While pain tolerance is subjective, patients often describe the sensation as similar to a "hot stone massage".

The Soprano XL targets the hair follicles by gradually heating them until they can no longer produce new hair. Treatments will affect those hair follicles that are in their active growth phase and which contain an intact hair at the time of the laser treatment. You should refrain from waxing, tweezing, plucking, electrolysis, and use of chemical depilatories for several weeks prior to treatment. You may continue to shave between treatments as needed. Light-colored, white, gray, or red hair will not be effectively treated with laser hair removal.

Laser hair removal requires multiple treatments to achieve adequate hair reduction. This is due to the fact that not all of the hair follicles are in their active growth phase at the same time. Only those follicles in the active growth phase of their growth cycle will be affected by a laser treatment. We perform treatments about every 6 weeks on the face and every 8-12 weeks on the body. A minimum of 4 body treatments and 6 face treatments will be needed to achieve adequate hair reduction results in an ideal candidate (someone with light-colored skin and dark hair). We perform a Fitzpatrick skin typing analysis on every patient to determine your skin type. The Soprano XL is safe for all skin types, hair types, and most hair colors. It can even be used on tanned skin. If you have hair where you wish you didn't - this is the most effective and comfortable permanent hair removal treatment for you.
