Laser Hair Removal

Laser hair removal is a very effective method for eliminating unwanted hair in properly selected patients. The laser energy is absorbed by the pigment within the hair shaft delivering sufficient heat to destroy the hair follicle. Treated hair will begin to fall out in 1-2 weeks. Three to four treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart may be necessary to achieve satisfactory results. Treatments are most effective for brown or black hair.
