James R. Meyer, M.D.
A native of South Texas, Dr. Meyer attended Texas A&M University undergraduate, then received his medical degree from Tulane University in New Orleans. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Scott and White Hospital in Temple, Texas in 1978. Board certified in OB/GYN, Dr. Meyer moved his practice to Uvalde, Texas in 2007 from The Woodlands, Texas. Dr. Meyer's special interests include minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, female urinary incontinence, office-based women's health including contraception and screening, as well as state-of-the-art aesthetic services.
Angie Arredondo
Angie is a native of Uvalde, a graduate of Uvalde High School. She received training as a medical assistant and currently is in charge of the "back office", overseeing all medical procedures, medications, and materiel required for the day to day gynecology practice. She is certified in the use of Intense Pulsed Light in aesthetic procedures, PCA chemical peels and cosmeceuticals, Parisian Peel and Suffusion, and is expert in the application of ColoreScience mineral-based make-up.
Linda DuPlooy
Originally from South Africa, Linda comes to us from St. Lucia, West Indies, where she managed her own business. She is in charge of the day to day business of the "front office" where she is likely to be the first smiling face you see when you arrive. Serving as well as the practice public relations director, she has been our most enthusiastic advocate in getting word out of the new and exciting services offered here in Uvalde. Linda is likewise certified in the use of aesthetic Intense Pulsed Light, Parisian Peel and Suffusion, PCA products and procedures, as well as the ColoreScience line.
