Medical Training and Awards
Dr. Soto completed his family medicine residency at San Jacinto Methodist Hospital and Baylor College of Medicine, where he was awarded the I-CARE Values Award. He received his medical degree from Universidad Central Del Este in the Dominican Republic and then completed additional education at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Florida.
Early Background and Memberships
Dr. Soto was born and raised in Cuba where he finished his undergraduate studies and initial medical education. He is a member of American Academy of Family Practice, American Medical Association, the Harris County Medical Society of Family Physicians, American Professional Wound Care Association, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Houston Metropolitan Health Network.
Extensive Ongoing Training in Smart Lipo and Dermal Fillers
Dr. Soto also has special training in General Aesthetics Medicine and Laser Assisted Lipolysis. He was trained by one the pioneers of Smart Lipo, Dr. Dwight Reynolds, and was named as one his “Talented 25†elite physicians. Dr. Soto also has extensive training in Botox Cosmetics and Dermal Fillers.
