How does the hair removal laser work?
The Lightsheerâ„¢ Diode Laser inhibits your hair follicles' ability to produce hair by applying a high intensity pulse of light to the treatment area. This light heats the hair follicle to the point where it can no longer function. Because it works primarily on hair follicles that are in the active growth stage, multiple treatments are required to completely rid the area of unwanted hair. Because the hair follicles are being super heated, it is important to utilize a cooling device to reduce the temperature of the treatment area during the procedure.
